I met them at a Cooking Demo. They understood immediately how important it is to be prepared AND to be able to enjoy as well as use your food storage. Even though they are in the middle of a major remodel in their home they have been build up their own Home Store as well as creating tasty meals using their Thrive foods.
To help share with others the joy and ease, as well as great taste, of the Shelf Reliance Thrive line of foods they created gifts in a jar.
Here are some of Ann & Eden's creations:

My daughter and I searched out our neighbor who does food storage. Our original idea was for emergency use. But we had already tossed out poor-tasting cans of food. Not all storage is equal! And dehydrating foods including meats, weren’t versatile. The demonstration and tasting party convinced me that we found the light, Shelf Reliance!
I used to teach children a lesson about cooperation and helping neighbors, especially amid scarcity and in need. I read them the classic story of “Stone Soup”, which tells how hungry strangers persuade a village to give them food. The children wanted to try the recipe. They had fun and feast. Subsequently, we made “Stone Soup” each Christmas season. The minestrone soup has become a family favorite. Now I’m saving hours of cooking time with Thrive food and able to put the stone soup in a jar, but re-naming it “Stoneless Soup”. We experiment and add new Thrive products each month and continue to look for more economical entrées to put in a jar. Last week we came up with Creamy Chicken & Vegetable Soup in a jar.
Since this past spring when we started incorporating Thrive foods in our daily diet, our eating habits are more healthy and time had been saved by having foodstuffs available in our own ‘new’ home-store. Even my recent doctor’s check up revealed that my cholesterol has dropped low enough to be able to go off of cholesterol-lowering drugs! I credit this to Thrive’s meats, which are extremely lean in fat and cholesterol due to the freeze dried process.

The more we can save money, feed our families nutritious food, prepare ourselves and our friends and neighbors the better off we ALL are.
