Here are two recipes we developed for the next Tasting Event at Be Ready Inc. Looking forward to seeing more of you at the next Be Ready Inc events May 7th 2pm, May 12 7pm & May 21st 2pm!!
Crock Pot Chocolate Fudge Brownie Pudding
Developed by ThriveSisters
5 Cups Thrive Fudge Brownie Mix
1 large Chocolate Pudding Mix, not-instant
2 Cups Thrive Sour Cream, reconstituted
4 Thrive Eggs, reconstituted
1 Cup Water
¾ Cup Vegetable Oil
1 Cup Chocolate Chips, semi-sweet
Combine all ingredients, except the chocolate chips, in a large mixing bowl. Mix well. Let sit 10 to rehydrate the brownie mix. Stir in the chocolate chips.
For your crock pot you should either use cooking spray OR use a crock pot liner. I love the liner for this!
Pour mixture into crock pot and cook on HIGH for 2 ½ to 3 hours OR on LOW for 6 to 7 hours. You want the middle to look soft and have some jiggle to it, but not wet like batter. Turn OFF the heat, leave the lid ON, and let brownies sit for 30 minutes before serving.
Great served with ice cream, whipped cream or just a big glass of ice cold milk!
Creamy Ham & Corn Chowder
Developed by ThriveSisters
½ cup Thrive Onions
¼ cup Thrive Mixed Bell Peppers
4 cup Thrive Chicken Bouillon, reconstituted
1 cup Thrive Potato Dices
1 cup Thrive Sweet Corn
½ cup Thrive Ham Dices
¼ cup Thrive Potato Beads
½ cup Thrive Instant or Powdered Milk (or Half & Half or Cream)
Bring chicken bouillon to a boil; add all ingredients except the milk or cream. Simmer, covered, for about 7-10 minutes.
Remove from heat. Stir in milk or cream. Season with fresh cracked pepper and fresh herbs if desired.
